Mango jam

Made in small quantity, so no canning necessary.
Keep refrigerated.

Bring to a simmer, and cook for about 5 minutes, till thickened:

– 1 cup MANGO pieces (fresh or frozen)
– 1/4 scant cup WHITE SUGAR
– 1/4 LEMON (juice and zest, minced)
– good pinch of ground ANISE SEED


Use a hand blender to partially purée.
